Just When You Thought SPAM Was Getting Boring – The Green Alternative

OK, I said I’d get off the subject of SPAM, but just one more and then I’m done. Indulge me.

I was wondering if you couldn’t do something a bit fun with your spam, and sure enough, you can. That gorgeous picture at the top is my favourite unsolicited mail today, “KFed’s attorney: Brit missed 8 of 14 drug tests” being recycled at Spam Recycling. You get to watch as it takes the original mail and gives it a satisfying whiz through the mixmaster.

If you have design skills, you could search for spam’s soul with beautiful hand lettered artwork, like Linzie Hunter:

Kipling West does sweet spam-inspired ink-work (updated weakly) at Fresh Spam:

If you don’t have the time or talent for design, you could just collect and hoard. Iain’s site Cock Spam specialises in one common genre.

And Bird Monster suggests analysing your SPAM as an inspiration for naming your child. How could they not succeed in life with names like Eduardo Watches, Lavonne Negronne, Faulkner T. Rasmus, Ty Coon and Barrera Fanny?

Don’t think of unsolicited email as a burden or obstruction. Think of it as a spamboree!
