Singapore – Blue and White

In Singapore we have “Black and White” housing, which is Colonial era bungalows and flats that are now owned by the government and rented out (usually to expatriates) at impressively high prices. They’re all painted white and the details are picked out in black, sometimes with black and white striped chick blinds. This hotel in Chinatown has gone for blue and white, which I think is much more culturally appropriate. After all, who doesn’t have a cupboard full of blue and white crockery?
